Public Art with YUTEP
Dear allies,friends and supporters,
It’s with mixed emotions that I announce after three fantastic years with Pacoima Beautiful,I’ll be transitioning to work with our ally,LAANE,on the Don’t Waste LA campaign. This is a campaign PB has been a part of since the beginning,and I’m excited to continue working on environmental justice,for good jobs and clean air for Northeast Valley residents. But I will sincerely miss Pacoima,our community members and staff,and all of those I’ve worked with here! I remain fiercely dedicated to vibrant but under-resourced neighborhoods like Pacoima getting their fair share of resources like safe streets and public spaces,and for popular education to facilitate our leaders’engagement in decision-making.
Environmental Justice Awards
I’m immeasurably grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our incredible residents to fight for a healthy and safe community of opportunity. The openness and welcome of the Pacoima community and the PB staff has been truly humbling,and I look forward to continuing to collaborate with PB in my new role at LAANE,and as a PB member. And I’ll be visiting soon to see the new bikeways,parks,trees,new transit,and other improvements coming to Pacoima!
