Join us at the South Coast Air Quality Management District - SCAQMD Air Pollution workshop next Thursday, June 20th at 5:30 pm at Las Palmas Park in the city of San Fernando. Air pollution is a big issue in our area due to the many industrial sites located near our homes and schools that are contaminating the air that we breathe every day. This workshop will be an opportunity for you to voice your concerns and help works towards a solution that creates healthier neighborhoods.

This year we are honoring, State Senate President Pro tem Kevin de Leon, L.A. County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, and City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works Vice President Heather Repenning.

Vision Zero Los Angeles is our city’s commitment to eliminate all traffic deaths by 2025. This citywide effort brings together transportation engineers, police officers, advocates, and policymakers to work together towards creating safer streets. Our focus will be protecting our most vulnerable road users, including children, older adults, and people walking and bicycling.

Join us as we activate Roscoe Blvd through activities that will increase visibility for pedestrians, bikers, and drivers.  The vision for zero traffic deaths in Los Angeles by the year 2025, starts with us!
