Walk-a-thon October 2011

We had a fantastic Walk-a-Thon as part of a joint effort between our YUTEP (Youth United Towards Environmental Protection) program and our Caminos del Pueblo/Complete Streets campaign. We walked from our offices to Hansen Dam park,where we discussed the importance of Complete Streets for our community,played sports,danced Zumba,and ate healthy snacks! Before walking back,we raffled off sports equipment to some of our lucky attendees. We plan to continue hosting walk-a-thons in the coming months;stay tuned!
