SFV Recovery Hub

As the lead Recovery Hub for the San Fernando Valley region, we are helping to bring much needed recovery to the community after Covid-19. We are doing so by building community power in order to recover from Covid-19.

The Covid-19 Pandemic posed a set of challenges for our community; while we have worked hard to overcome these challenges, there is still some work left to do. The California Community Foundation (CCF) has provided us with the opportunity to give grants to local Community Based Organizations. At Pacoima Beautiful, we created the Socially Organized Leaders Training Institute to help us create a network of these various, diverse community organizations.

As a part of the Regional Recovery Hub Initiative, this program seeks to strengthen community-driven initiatives and programs. Through Pacoima Beautiful, CCF’s grant will help tackle key issues affecting community members in the SFV Region, one of the six regional recovery hubs across Los Angeles County. The Regional Recovery Hubs initiative aims to strengthen and improve the resilience of the San Fernando Valley.
