Pacoima Beautiful and Casa Esperanza proudly continue the Immaculate Heart Community legacy by honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe each year. This meaningful cultural and spiritual tradition brings the community together in faith, devotion, and connection.
The celebration begins with a 9-day Novena, where participation grows each year—from about 50 attendees on the first day to nearly 100 by the final day—creating a sacred space for prayer, reflection, and collective spiritual growth.
On December 12, the celebration culminates with Las Mañanitas at 5:00 a.m., as community members gather for a moving morning of song, prayer, and live Mariachi music. Families, elders, and youth come together in a powerful expression of unity and tradition.
The season concludes with a community Posada, featuring cultural decorations, music, food, and activities for families. With support from partners like Mission Community Hospital, children receive gifts through a toy drive, and families share in traditions like piñatas, tamales, and warm drinks—celebrating the values of faith, compassion, and community.
