The California Native Plant Landscaper Certificate (CNPLC) is a 20-hour vocational training program taught by Theodore Payne Foundation, a leading authority on California native plants. This one-time, no-cost offering is made possible through a grant Pacoima Beautiful received to expand access to professional landscape training in the Northeast San Fernando Valley.
The program is designed for landscape workers, gardeners, designers, educators, and community members interested in developing skills in California native and climate-appropriate landscaping. The course combines classroom instruction with hands-on practicums and is ideal for working adults, with sessions held on Saturdays.
