Manuel Alfaro-Cabrera

Manuel has over 13 years of experience in the affordable housing industry, spanning government, low-income housing tax credit syndication, and banking. Currently, he works in Portfolio Management at Capital One, where he continues to contribute to expanding affordable housing availability to address the housing crisis in communities across the U.S.
Before entering affordable housing, Manuel worked in economic development, serving as Senior Director for the Office of Economic and Business Policy during the Villaraigosa administration. He has also served on the board of the North Los Angeles Regional Center, where he held the role of treasurer.
In his spare time, Manuel enjoys playing and listening to music and spending time with his wife and two children.
