Veronica Padilla-Campos
Executive Director
Veronica grew up in Sun Valley, later spending ten years in Sylmar, before settling in Santa Clarita with her husband and two daughters. She is also a proud stepmother to two boys with special needs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from UCLA and a master’s degree in Urban Planning, also from UCLA.
Her professional background spans both the public and private sectors, including work in GIS and environmental impact reports. Still, her most meaningful role has been at Pacoima Beautiful, where she can serve the community that shaped her while applying the skills she developed at UCLA.
Veronica served for five years as a City of Los Angeles Planning Commissioner and currently serves as a Governing Board Member for the South Coast Air Quality Management District. Her overarching goal is to direct resources toward improving community wellbeing and to help build an equitable, healthy, and safe environment for all residents.
